INVOCATION (in unison)
Lord God of Abraham, calling us to journey as your pilgrim people, going where you lead us, sharing your vision that is wide as the sky’s vastness, help us to follow. Lord God of Sarah, calling us to trust you, to remain faithful through the times of silence, give us the courage to believe your promise and share in your action. Lord God of Hagar, God of the afflicted who comes to the poor, the despised, and the oppressed, you enter our world and our lives with saving justice, with love, and freedom. Thank you for walking with us always. Amen.

PRAYER OF DEDICATION (in unison)
As we bring our offerings, we pray, O God, that you will send laborers among all your children to preach good news, to bring healing, to feed the hungry. We would support them with our gifts. And if there are tasks for us to do, help us to respond with our lives, not with our leftovers. Amen.

Many Thanks!
Three thousand four hundred forty-eight thank you’s to this unbelievably generous and compassionate church family! 3,348 — that’s the number of diapers we delivered this week to Healthy Families of Ontario County. In these days when our lives have been turned upside down, when we can’t come together to worship, still, you came together with your incredible spirit. In the words of Charles Dickens, “God bless us, everyone.”

DRIVE WAY VISITS
The weather is changing. Spring turns to summer and the warm air brings us out of our houses. The social distancing restrictions remain in place, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see one another. We cannot gather for worship, but I would love to come to your home for a driveway visit!
I know that not everyone is comfortable with having people from outside of their family unit coming to visit, but if you are comfortable with a six or more feet away visit, outside in your driveway, on your porch or in your yard. I’d like to come visit.
Give me a call 905-3105 or send me an email at revdawn@canandaiguachurch.org, so that we can arrange for a time for me to stop by for a short social distanced visit.
I know that not everybody will want me to stop by for a driveway visit, but I look forward to seeing those of you who would enjoy a chance to chat.
Blessings,
Dawn
