The new Called to Care, Canandaigua group is working to bring a Ukrainian family to the community within the next few months. They are looking to raise $10,000 from the local community to support the initial resettlement of this family. Members of the FCC Social Action committee will be available after worship on October 2, 9 and 16 to receive donations from individuals who would like to help in this humanitarian effort. Checks can be made payable to First Congregational Church mailed to 58 N Main Street, Canandaigua 14424 or use the “Donate” button on the website. Please remember to indicate “Called to Care” in the check or PayPal memo line to ensure funds are properly credited.
