Congratulations to Taylor Day and the Cast of the 2023 Production!
Over just 10 days in July, Taylor – assisted by Asher Piorkowsi and Nora Piper – led 13 energetic kids to a smashing production on July 20 & 21. Taylor supplied a rough outline of songs and themes, and the campers worked together to develop a unique plot. They imagined a “screen free” summer vacation, without the use of common electronic devices. And “UNPLUGGED” was born!
It wasn’t all rehearsal – as part of the theme the kids tried their hands at making homemade ice cream and baking cookies. Then they enjoyed a cookie exchange with enough leftover to be served at the reception following the performance.
This year’s camp was again made possible by the generous donations in memory of Barb Harradine and the Harradine Family.
